Shortage of female principals leads to
concern in Wisconsin

The Association of
Wisconsin School Administrators says
54 women held jobs
as principals last year,
and 70 women were superintendents. State Superintendent of Public Instruction Elizabeth
Burmaster says the shortage
is not due to a glass ceiling, but rather a shortage of candidates.  Duluth News Tribune (Minn.)/Associated Press
